So, have you heard about Erin McKean? "Dictionary Evangelist" has been in my side column thing for quite a while now. Unfortunately, she posts very irregularly on that blog, but she's still awesome. Duuuuude! I wanna take that class! I wanna own that class! That class should be mine!!!!
ReplyDeleteUm. Someday. Ya know, when I'm actually, like, qualified in some way....
But actually, I was just thinking last night how tragic it is that BYU doesn't have a lexicography class and wondering what it is lexicographers study in college as I was comparing the definition of 'water' as found in my various dictionaries a while after I had turned my light off the first time to go to bed.
